1. The short version
This website currently sets no cookies at all. It stores one item in your browser’s local storage, and only after you have made a choice: a record of that choice.
There is no analytics on this site, no advertising pixel, no embedded video, no chat widget, and no third-party font or script. Nothing here reports your visit to anyone else.
The consent controls below exist because that could change, and because a consent gate has to be built before the thing it gates — not afterwards.
2. What is stored, precisely
| Name | Type | Purpose | Expires | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
mp_consent | Local storage | Records which cookie categories you allowed, and when. Without it we would have to ask on every page. | Until you clear it or change your choice | Strictly necessary |
That is the complete list. mp_consent contains a version number, a timestamp, and true or false for each category. It contains no identifier, so it cannot be used to recognise you anywhere else.
Because it is local storage rather than a cookie, it is never transmitted to our server — it stays in your browser.
3. The categories
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work and to remember your privacy choice. Cannot be switched off, and sets nothing that could identify or track you. This is the only category currently in use.
Analytics
Aggregated measurement of which pages are read and how people move through the site, so we know what to improve. Off unless you turn it on. Nothing in this category is active today; if we add a tool, it will be named in the table above before it runs.
Marketing
Lets an advertising platform measure whether one of our own ads led you here. This category sets third-party cookies and shares a page-view signal with the platform concerned. Off unless you turn it on. Nothing in this category is active today.
4. Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time — it is no harder than giving it in the first place. Use the button below, or the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page.
Your choice is stored per device and per browser, so you will be asked again on a new device, in a different browser, or after clearing your browser storage.
You can also block or delete storage through your browser settings. Doing so will remove the record of your choice, so you will be asked again on your next visit.
5. The client application
This policy covers the public website at mediapoint.ai. The signed-in client application at client.mediapoint.ai uses browser session storage to hold your authentication session while you are signed in. That is strictly necessary — without it you would be signed out on every page — and it is cleared when you close the tab. It is not used for analytics or advertising.
